Obviously in the long run I'd love a bolter and something like a plasma or melta but this will keep me happy for a good long while.

Take your time man. I'm picking up Fallout 3 GOTY tomorrow so I might not be on as much anyways.Mikey wrote:Those las-locks sell new for 40 Thrones apiece?
Anyway, I probably won't be able to get a selling/shopping list up until Tues. night.

Selling
1) Face dye: Whatever our GM figures it's worth2 if that
2) Lasgun: 37.5
3) Laspistol: 25
4) Pretty much everything that came with the rucksack, for whatever our GM thinks it'd be worth-100
5) Grenade launcher: 150
6) Lasgun clips x2: 15
Awesome.Buying
1) Exotic Weapon Training (Shock Blaster): 200 xp
Shock Blaster: 650 thrones
Same cost.2) Mechadendrite use (Ballistic): 200 xp
Mechadendrite (Ballistic): 600 thrones (Unless of course, the mechanicus is nice enough to front some or all of the bill)
(Also, this mech is listed as carrying a laspistol with the compact upgrade, which I assume is the laspistol listed in the Dark Hersey handbook. Would I be able to swap it out with another laspistol, with compact upgrade, from the Inquis Handbook? And if so, what kind of cost would that be?)
Yes, say 10% off per part.Other
I was thinking about ways of using all the spare parts I have, and was wondering: Could I use the spare parts to reduce the prices of the stuff I'm buying? My reasoning being, with six months to burn, Haxta could be shopping around for broken weapons/gear and buying them at discount then fixing them up. Would this be possible, and if so, what kind of deals can I get? Percentage off per part, or a flat rate decrease per part?
Take the 33 for good RPing.Current standing until certain questions get answered
Thrones: 328.5
XP: 67
Edit: Also, is there something I can do to get the 33 xp needed to round that 67 off to a nice 100? It's been bugging me, cause everything in this game goes by 100s as far as advancements go, save for a few 250s and 750s.
We'll treat it as a special case. As a free action (reaction) you can make a standard attack.2nd edit: Had a question about the ballistic mechadendrite: The rules for it say that it may be used as a reaction, and as if in the off hand but without the penalty. I've always taken this to mean it's a sort of free attack, you give up your ability to dodge or parry to make an extra attack. However how does that work with the rule against making the same action twice a round? Is this a special case that overrules that rule? Or do I need to pick up the two-weapon fighting talent to make use of the mech and another weapon in one turn?
Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw it.Cpl Kendall wrote:Lighthawk wrote:So, assuming I didn't screw up the rewards list, my plans for gear/skills/talents shall be...

Damn...uh, I almost hate to say this but, is there a limit on that? Cause I have enough parts to get myself about 70% or better off everything I've bought so far, and as much as I'd love to push things, I have this annoying habit of being fair when it comes to RPing.Yes, say 10% off per part.Other

Good point. 10% off per part, maximum of 2 parts per weapon.Lighthawk wrote:
