You have to wonder about Starfleet uniform codes. Do they really have a "you can dress down if you feel like it, as long as the Captain is okay with it" rule?
And what's with the skirts? If you give up on the idea of skirts being a uniform variant for women, then why have a skirt option at all? Purely as a fashion choice?!
