Overkill maybe.....I was trying to do some damage to get some attention. Didn't exactly plan on destroying the entire sector.
Oops

Oops... 43,000 MTs... WTF? The Romulans did that to just ONE of my worlds and look what happened to them.

Get some attention? You blow up a city to do that. You dropped ten 45,000 megaton anti-matter bombs on every planet in the FKI.

Hit and Run techniques failed, so I chose something a bit more direct

For what its worth...and this matters not at all IC...I don't believe Mark intended for what happened. The idea was to hit military targets. The problem is when you have a weapon of that magnitude it will hit the military target and flatten everything else within 100 miles or so, plus do awful things a lot further than that. For scaling attacks on planets I use the DITL yields for lack of anything better to use. Just realize even a photon torpedo is more powerful than all but a handful of very experimental thermonuclear weapons. These things had 1,000 tons of anti-matter and 1,000 tons of matter for a warhead. That makes for a very big bang.

I think everyone realises that one.
But as I've said a lot, this is just as much a roleplay as it is a game.

Oh I agree. Just given more as a note of caution than anything. Check into what type of weapon you are blasting away with. For example the casualties on the Klingon worlds the Taiidan hit were between 5-20% depending on how many industrial targets had to be hit. That is just from using a liberal dusting of photon torpedoes.

To reliant, I realized you weren't saying you were being neutral, mine was in addition to what you said, I just thought you worded it quite well and decided to use your thought and then convey my own. Hope everyone else understood that too.
Changed it slightly after reading the thread a second time, I hate it when I remember someone saying something different from what they did.
