Re: BETA SIM OOC THREAD
I wait for two reasons.
1. Alpha has two large alliances that are working together on a variety of things. Alpha also has a huge amount of inter-power loans that I need payments on to balance all the sheets. If I do them piecemeal I am just going back and doing them pretty much from the outset anyway. I am also more likely to lose a few tens of millions of credits if I do it that way.
2. Alpha presumably has a lot more intel being run at this point, as everyone is getting ready to choke one another after half a year of barking. I found I spend too much time chasing my tail when I try to do one then come back to it. I tend to do as much as I can in one sitting.

Re: BETA SIM OOC THREAD
ya Beta doesn't have that much intel or loans, so I can keep track of loans easy, and intel I've got my own system for.BigJKU316 wrote:I wait for two reasons.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

If you've only done the first five-year turn, it should be 2384.

Re: BETA SIM OOC THREAD
The start date was the year after the events of Nemesis. So 2380. We have had a 1 year turn and 2 5 year turns.Tyyr wrote:No, we just finished our second so that would make it 2389?
So by my math it is 2391.

Alright then.
On another note, is there any scrap value in ships? If we choose to just scrap some is there any value from that or are they just permanently removed from the rolls?

They are just lost. In Alpha the Ferengi have chosen to spike the price for warships by paying powers to decomission ships they don't want rather than flood the market with crap. But as stand they have no value.Tyyr wrote:Alright then.

Re: BETA SIM OOC THREAD
Since the Ferengi are PCs in the game, maybe Staplic would set something up allowing you to sell military surplus to the Orion Syndicate?
