What's with the double posts? Is the fabric of the universe starting to rend?

Since Tsukiyumi had mentioned the possibility that the fabric of the universe might rend, and since Data using contractions would cause a similar effect, why on Earth did you ask a question with such an obvious answer?

But surely the fact of a DITL thread remaining on-topic would be a greater risk than Data using contractions?
