I liked Naomi, she kind of reminded me of newt from aliens, don't ask me why.

I hated Wesley, and I didn't mind jake.. but nog got on my nerves..

I liked the idea of Nog - a step away from a blanket stereotypical treatment of all Ferengi, as was done with Rom - but I think that essay, especially later in the series, subsumed any other character development that might have taken place.
