So, today this girl in my English class was relating this story, and I just had to share it.

She's a cheerleader (a smart one) and this other cheerleader came up to her, and said, I had a really hard test today, I had to memorize all the countries in the U.S. and their capitals.

So the girl telling the story asks, you mean states in the U.S.

And the other girl responds with, no, the countries...

All the countries in the United States, huh?

Well they were 50% right.

Many of you've heard me make reference to a certain airhead I see on a daily basis. Let me share this latest bit of silliness.

I was reading the forum at work and she came up behind me. I just happened to be reading a post from Ian, and she saw his Spock avatar. So, she brightly asks, "Isn't that Dr. Spock?". As most of us Trekkies have spent far to many hours doing, I explained that was "Mr. Spock". She insisted that it was Dr. Spock. I explained Mr. Spock was the character played by Leonard Nimoy.

So then she asked if he's not a Doctor, how was he able to write all those books on children.

That depends...for how long, and under what conditions?

Varies from man to man. However odds are good she'll eventually find a guy who's only interest is in something pretty around his house and then she's set for life.
