That would make one freaky ass episode of Tom and Jerry.

What if it's a zombie cat?
Then it's undead, not alive.

I was thinking of the term "living dead", actually.

Maybe that would work better as an episode of Itchy and Scratchy.

Inever undertstood the concept. Isn't "undead" another way of saying "alive"?

Hey Schrodinger's Hat, nice to see lots of people coming on to talk on the forum.

Doesn't really work that way I'm afraid. Quantum physics
works. The particles really do behave that way. You might as well say "Well relativity is all very well but I'm a Newtonian kind of guy. No reason why you can't go as fast as you like."

May work that way but I can't
think that way. My limitation, I'll admit.
And who says we can't go as fast as we like? I've always preferred going
beyond the impossible!

That's the spirit!

Well that's what you would think, but in practice "undead" really describes beings that are risen from the dead, or sort of alive while dead, like zombies.

I've always loved that there's a specific word for that... that and defenestration. Granted, it's just two latin words mashed together, but the fact that someone went through the trouble of coming up with a specific term for the act of throwing someone or something out of a window tickles me.
...Yeah, I'm easily amused.

But that makes no sense. Alive and dead are opposites. You can't be both at the same time.
Alive means you have life.
Dead means you don't have life.
Both are mutually exclusive.
I hate fantasy.

Yes, but in quantum physics, something can both
exist and
not exist. At once! Ain't
fun?

Yes but they wouldn't be existing and not existing in the same universe at the same time.

Yeah, but there's alive, and then there's dead, and then there's ZOMBIES!

I also like the idea of particles that have no mass. And tachyons.
