No. They'd have managed to fuck it up somehow.

I do believe they managed in just one ep. Come on now, give credit where it's due!

You know, I guess the thing that really irks me, is that all of these plot devices like the rogue planet, the mysterious station, and the "unknown" aliens, all happened reletively close to Earth. Remember, Enterprise could only cruise at around Warp 4 on the TOS scale, so she couldn't really get THAT far. They should have come up with some plots that were a bit more mundane, and not left open (like the station repairing itself)

That's one of the issues with ENT - even though the NX couldn't go too fast, it still managed to get THAT far and more.
