Heyheyhey, crappy? >:( Steady on there mate. I think the 40K Cannon is one of the most fantastic i've ever seen, its just so diverse. I mean, yeah, theres a lot of it and, yeah, a lot of it is different, but.. its an entire GALAXY. You cant really expect every single thing to be identicle on every one of the trillion trillion worlds in this big ole starcluster we call home.

Perhaps I should say poorly enforced. Everything in WH40K is canon, though the novels are the highest if I understand GW correctly.

And, meh, maybe theres different versions of Plasma Power and Promethium that have benefits and drawbacks.. maybe liquid plasma is stabler for longer so it has a mildly longer range or something but is more expensive to refine. It wouldnt come up in the rules, but it could easily be bunged into the cannon and hope no-one really notices, and different regimental leaders all have different tastes.

No I mean that in The Soul Drinkers Omnibus the plasma guns literally fire liquid fire. Which is the only reference I've seen to that and the total opposite of what they usually do.

Or, you know, maybe you guys should stop nitpicking and enjoy the books =p

The shheer variety of te Imperium is eough to excuse a lot of the contradictions for me.
I'm just afterr reading the latest Cain book Duty Calls, pretty good.

There was indeed something. Priad switched the overlay back and forth, matching and rematching. According to the old charts, there was a section of the east wall built of compacted rock shards rather than ferro-concrete as an expediancy during construction.

Still impressive and IIRC Jurgen blasts a hole through an actual rockcrete tunnel wall in For The Emperor with his meltagun. And IG melta's are quite a bit weaker than those used by the SM's.

Sandy Mitchell is the name he publishes under, he also wrote Scourge The Heretic. Which is the Dark Heresy RPG tie in novel, it's excellent and I highly recommend it.

Yeah, your wrong. McNeil wrote the The Ultramarines Omnibus and Fulgrim, neither of which seem highly regarded by fans. Though Fulgrim was so over the top that I loved it.

Yeah, the only sci-fi in my local library is 20 year old Trek novels. I like to buy these books anyways, make good references for fanfiction.

My local public library has a total of three WH40k books and one WH book; lots of Zelazny, Heinlein, Silverberg, etc., and SW and ST books. However, they had four Gibson books, but NOT Neromancer!
