Mir snapped off two more shots, the first carving off the robots left leg and sending it tumbling forward, right into the path of the second shot that cored it's body.

A wide pair of clear glass doors lead outside, a city street visible beyond. There was a large counter set up at the back of the lobby opposite the doors, with several computer terminals set up. More doorways lead off on either side of the lobby, and a pair of elevators stood a bit off to the side of the counter.

The machine vanished in a sudden flare as it denotated with startling force. The blast shattered windows up and down the street and rocked the sentinel backwards, nearly toppling the walker.

Mir grabbed the small bar over the top of his control console and held on, pulling himself forward as if that might actually help. "What in the warp did that make that thing out of?!"

Seruatka walked slowly over to the computer terminals, bending over to see if they were still working.

" I...I think it had a bomb in it," Solaria said in a voice of forced calm. A second later she added, with a hint of panic, " Mir, I can't see."

The screens were dark, but a tiny green light shone from the middle of the power buttons upon the keyboards set into the opposite side of the counter. Looking over the counter, Seruatka could make out seveal comfortable wheeled chairs, folders spread across a lower counter behind the main, and a safety box bolted to the floor in the back corner.

"Can't see what?" he asked dimly as he turned in his seat to look at her.

Seruatka tapped the power button on one of the terminals and moved quickly to inspect the box, not pausing to see if the terminal even worked.

Solaria's eyes were squeezed tight, and there were tears of pain running down her cheeks. " I...can't...see..." she repeated in tones reserved for telling the obvious to someone being thickheaded. " At all," she added.

The box was made of thick metal, obviously very solid in construction. There was a simple handle on the front door, and a card reader on the side of the casing. Behind Seruatka, the computer finished booting up with a sudden and loud electronic fanfare.

"Shit!" Mir said. He quickly undid the straps holding him in his seat and stood up on it. He leaned over Solaria's console and looked around for a bit. "Where's the lock out? Put this thing in park."

"Shut up!" Seruatka hissed at the computer, snapping his rifle up and taking cover behind the counter, waiting to see if someone would come to investigate the noise.

Solaria reached out blindly, trying to get the controls reoriented in her mind. The walker gave a sharp lurch as she hit the controls. " Sorry," she muttered before locking down the drive system.

Mir swayed when the Sentinel lurch. "Ah!" He barked as he grabbed the back of the jumpseat to steady himself. His fingers slipped off the synthetic fabric and he fell flat across his controls. He cursed as they dug painfully into his back. With a crackling snap the lascannon went off and blew a hole in a nearby building.
"Ok..." he murmured as the walker shuddered to a halt as its joints locked. "Alright, can you open them, let me have a look?"

Remembering the droplet of sweat, she asked Phrenz how she could get to him. His gaze burning into her making her feel so hot in all the right places.... she unzips her body suit just enough, releasing her swelling breast.

Solaria managed to crack her eyes a faint sliver open, before moaning and closing them tight again. " It's like staring into the sun."

Somewhere from beyond one of the side hallways, a door slammed shut, and then there was silence for several long moments. Serutaka could just make out the gentle turning of a doorhandle coming from the right side of the lobby, the faint whisper of the door brushing the floor as it opened.

" She needs only to walk on over," Phrenz replied, his gaze taking a slow circuit up and down Lot's figure. " Set one free, and she will enjoy rewards beyond imagining."

"I want you chained my pet. I must tear into your flesh with my claws, I need to hear you scream in agony for more. That is what gives me true pleasure." Lot demands in a sultry tone. Taking off her pack, she grabs a broken rifle scope out before tossing the pack on the floor of the elevator. She lightly throws the scope out the door to test the gravity field.....
