Early paladin renders of Tsukiyumi and the drawing of lt. Staplic have been posted on SCN. After well over 12 hours, no reactions.

you did explain those were works in progress and not final designs right?

I don't think Teaos or anyone really like my first rendition.

Seriously, I did those in about an hour. Let me get my comp running a bit better, and I'll get some more detailed stuff up.

They wanted a pictorial representation of said ship, I gave them one, along with the statement of this being a WIP.

At their level, you do. but how much experience do you actually have in working with 3D programs/ There is a rough correlation there between time spent modelling and the supposed finesse of the model as you add in more details.

Bryce 5 is a low-level program no matter how you look at it; it's designed for landscapes, and the texture mapping isn't the most detailed. Only thing I was going for there was basic geometry.

I'd like to get my hands on some ILM computers. :)

Well you could just dress up as a member of the cast of new trek movie, walk into ILM and tell them you're there for your motion capture bit (or similar line you can come up with yourself) and then run madly among the workstations :Drool1:

I'll loan you my trek uniform. That way you can just say, "I'm with the cast"
