Thorin, you are absolutely correct with that. I actualy do seem to get stuff done quicker if I don't say "I'll have it done by X".

yeah seriously it takes 10 minutes to make a post. You hang out on this forum all day.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

I think M'Real's quite lucky that Rochey is no longer on the ship. He'd have exploded if he heard she almost ran Mikey over.

Re: USS Daystrom Beta Prep
Now are all ships in the fleet regardless of assault force receiving these "flak torpedoes"? I'm working on an intro piece and may want to include some of those preparation headaches. should be up in 2 days....ish

She's just lucky this isn't an Andorian ship. I'd have to do some research, but I'm sure a stunt like that would've been grounds for a duel to the death. But, if the 'Fox is getting finished, who am I to argue?Rochey wrote:I think M'Real's quite lucky that Rochey is no longer on the ship. He'd have exploded if he heard she almost ran Mikey over.

M&M: yeah all ships are getting the flak torpedoes but a limited number of them. They just need them for when a subspace weapon comes near them.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

As for the ODPs, I slapped this together in a couple of minutes just to illustrate the shape; it's missing the tracks for the turrets (they can reorient along the spars), and the height should be a bit less than the width, but the general idea is there.

Cool design. Simple and practicle, exactly like something a pirate organisation would make. I can just see you laying into them.

Re: USS Daystrom Beta Prep
Sturdy, simple, and powerful. With the cannons able to re-orient, a full five of seven cannons (25,000 terawatts - half the power of a Galaxy-class phaser array) can target a single ship, plus they can manuver quick enough to hide damaged sections, or overheated cannons. It's the heavy armor that's going to be a problem...Teaos wrote:Cool design. Simple and practicle, exactly like something a pirate organisation would make. I can just see you laying into them.
I have a plan, of course. I always have a plan.

If the plan involves reversing the polarity or "compensating" I'm going to kick your arse.

Gah. No, mine's a bit more realistic; think warp decoys and very large explosion.Teaos wrote:If the plan involves reversing the polarity or "compensating" I'm going to kick your arse.
