I suffered damage (Type II Diabetes) from necessary doctor-mandated drug use to treat my schizophrenia, so responsibility had a downside as real as not taking my meds and living in the grip of insanity. This is a common and well known effect of the newer "atypical" anti-psychotic drugs.

My current antipsychotic is regarded as having relatively little risk of increased blood sugar, and my diabetic meds at least seem to do no harm. Metformin is one of the most well-regarded meds for diabetes; it has worked wonders for me and is known to even protect from "collateral damage" of diabetes, notably to the heart.

Well, we're having 50mph wind here. One of our deck chairs just slid across our deck. We may even lose power. But I'm not worried, I'm on my laptop... oh yeah, the wireless box still needs power. Well, If I suddenly stop posting, it may be due to power loss, or bed time, which ever comes first.
WOW! A car driving down our road was just blown off to the side of it! Thank goodness for grass fields... that gust was really bad.
