Why is everyone ganging up on me now? especially the Klingons, I know Klingons hate Romulans, but what valid reasoning is there.

The Klingons are a Federation ally and we are simply supporting one another. In all likelyhood I highly doubt that Romulan trade ships were 1) passing through Klingon space or 2) that romulan warships or explorers were welcome there either.

Alright, so far the only sheet I have is the Federation. If I can get the rest of these sheets early tomorrow I should be able to get them back out tomorrow night, my lab was canceled for tomorrow.

Just a note for everyone on R&D: This has been going on for most people so it's not any one persons fault, but there is a problem for most of you when you go to R&D ships. The problem is your ROF not matching your DITL Rating.

Here is how I want to see this calculated:

1st off enter your ROF (NOT YOUR CALUCULATED NUMBER OF TUBES) in as the number of tubes on the ship strength calculator, then select Federation Pulse Fire (Quantum/Photon) Torpedo Tube. Use the DITL Rating it gives you.

Some of you have been using other standards of tubes that give different values. This is fine, however I need to know what tube type you used so I can make sure it matches and I get the right specs for it.

Some of you have entered your ROF on the spreadsheet taken the number it spits out in emitters and entering that as your number of tubes. You need to match ROF not # of tubes.

Ok, well I've been matching ROF which gets silly with the Cardies shitty stock tubes.

Try designing it as a custom ship and use one of the fed's ROF's. s'what i've been doing (after the research to get to that stage of course).

Yeah, if you always use pulsefire those both rate at 1 per second. Since you likely have upgraded your torpedo tubes to a blistering 4 rounds per second (really there is no reason to go higher than that I promise) you would just enter 4 pulsfire tubes for every one of yours you are using.

Another note. The R&D section does not force you to use even numbers of tubes. If your design in your head has 3 high end 4 RPS tubes and a couple of 1 RPS tubes you just need to input the total rate of fire per second. It will still cost things out correctly and IC you can just state that you used so many of your best tubes and so many of your secondary tubes and so on.

Honestly I would just design all ships under the Federation with those tubes. It will make your life simpler.

Under the races tab select "custom". It allows all torpedoes from all races. then just refer to the table thats below the calc.
