Stitch - doesn't New York have an alternate route teaching certificate program? That's how my wife became a teacher - she was a poli-sci major in college. You'd still need to a math degree to teach math at grade 6 or above, but it's a great way of getting started on your tenure.

For me to be certified, I would need a Bachelors in education with an Associates in Math education (which I have). New Paltz is the only school close enough that has my program (if I go to a different school, I need to start all over, which would be a waste of 3 1/2 years. And the next closest one is on the other side of the state).

Beat. NJ has an alternate-route certification program, which allows for a small number of credits a/o para experience along with a non-education degree. Of course, the math degree is still required to teach math above a certain grade level.

I tend to go on about stuff that happens Relationship wise, I know that.

But this warrants the special mention. Someone who finally likes me, as I do to them. Someone who dreams as I do to be in the others company all the Time. Someone who i would gladly give my life to defend. And i mean that. I really do. Its early to say its true love. And i am but far to young for true love, even if I may be advanced of my years..but its the closest i've been, that i can assure you.
