Mir shivered. "Great. So, do you remember anything about before you got here?"

Solaria was silent for a moment before answering. " No," she said shortly. " I don't remember anything. Nothing before I woke in that little room, with that thing trying to claw it's way in."

"Ah, memories, that's all I can recall to... wait... I thought you said you were kidnapped out of your bed?"

Seruatka staggered back to his feet, shoving the dead thing off him. The damnable thing's blood had burned him slightly, leaving the exposed skin red and sensitive. Cursing quietly, he retrieved his autogun and began inspecting the mutant for anything of use.

Wollsey shook his head. " Been too busy just trying to stay alive. This place is packed with all sorts of nasty surprises."
Gaius 0138
"Lovely, maybe we can find a way out together?"

" I said I went to bed and woke up here," Solaria said. " It's...it's a feeling. When I first woke up, I had no sense that anything was wrong, no sense that I had known I was in trouble, you know? The first thing that gave me any indication that something might be wrong was how badly I ached from laying on the floor for who knows how many hours."

Seruatka found a wallet in the back pocket of the mutant's ragged pants. An ID card gave the creature the name of Enoch, and a series of pictures suggested that, back when he'd been a man, he'd had a wife and family. There was also a stiff plastic card with a barcode running across one edge, labeled " Level 2 Access."

Wollsey didn't answer for a bit, instead giving his attention entirely over to the ration cooker. When he did finally speak, his voice was low. " No. I'm not going back out there."

Gaius 0139:
Gaius nods, "I understand but if you can't serve in life, you can serve in death. I am truly sorry", he swings up his shotgun and squeezes the trigger.

Wollsey started up, and the first shot caught him square in the chest. He pitched back, blood splattering. A second shot followed the first, and with a violent retching sound more blood and shredded organs came spewing from the man's mouth as he finished his brief flight. He landed with a wet plop on the ground, his chest and stomach torn wide open.

Gaius 0139:
Gaius grimaces as he takes in the havoc his shotgun rounds wreaked with Wollsely's body before crouching over it and starting to go through his pockets and effects. "I'll have to check the tent and drag this mess out of the area", he mumbles to himself.

Gaius
0142
The shotgun wounds had turned Wollsey's torso into something resembling chunky stew, bits of lung and kidney floating in a bloody soup of various bodily fluids. The slop sloshed within the bowl formed by his ripped open front as Gaius went about removing anything of worth, especially as he pulled off the light flak coat that had failed to save it's former wearer. Aside from the coat, there was also the lasgun, ration cooker, the tent with it's las burn in the roof, and a rather dirty sleeping pallet within, as well as a good hunting knife.

Mir grunted in response. "Still more than I've got. Apparently I'm good with guns. That's the sum total of what I know about myself."

Whatever reply Solaria might have made was drowned out by a deafening roaring sound that came echoing down the streets, making widows rattle. A second later there was the heavy thump of an explosion, and a fireball burst above the tops of the buildings perhaps a kilometer to the north.

Gaius 0142:
As Gaius roots through the remains of his dinner companion he feels the bile rise in his throat and vomits into the remains of Wollsely. Wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve he sets the coat, knife and cooker aside with the lasgun and loops his arms under the mans shoulders. He drags the corpse onto the nearby path and drops it in a heap before returning to try on the coat.
The large hole in the front would be a problem but it would still serve to protect his back, legs and arms. The knife would serve well enough as a back up and he sticks it in his boot. He shoves the lasgun into the tent and sets about eating.

"What the FRAK?!" Mir wrenched the gun controls around to point towards the source of the explosion. "What the hell was that? Did you see anything?"

The sunlight was bright after being indoors, forcing Asyd to shield her eyes. As her vision adjusted, she saw little had changed outside, the undead still wandered aimlessly. A sudden motion out of the corner of her vision caught her attention, and she turned to gaze upon a monterous form. The creature was, thankfully, several blocks down the road, yet the distance only served to emphasis the saurian's bulk. The great reptile stood three stories high on long, powerful legs. Heavy arms rest tucked against it's broad chest, wicked claws half a meter long twitching as it stepped among the abandoned land cars. With lightning speed it's arm shot forth and snatched a wandering zombie, bringing it up to it's great maw and biting the undead clean in half. With a disatisfied growl it spat the foul creature out again, clealy finding it unappealing. Sniffing the air, the saurian continued it's slow walk up the street.
Test time 0010
Asyd was a bit startled for a moment, but quickly regained her composure as she silently stalked across the street to the door she had originally come out of. Thankfully, it was still open. She cautiously approached it, trying to observe anything unusual, as she kept a careful eye on the massive beast down the street.
