Well, my childrens mom went to court yesterday. Her case was differed, as her lawyer is trying to get her transferred over to "drug court". Maybe she WON'T do time. Must be eating lucky charms every day to get that luckey.

I get the distinct feeling that you aren't exactly thrilled at this news. If they toss her in rehab, maybe some counceling for the sticky fingers, do you think she can shape up?

She did rehab three times already. Two in-patient and one out patient programs. You have to REALLY want to stop to be able to quit. She never did. She admitted that. I think she's just trying to take the easier, softer option to get out of jail. I can't blame her for that, but I have no faith that she's serious. Plus, I'm moving on already. She's kind of late.

Sh*t.
You're right about wanting to change; no one ever does unless they choose to, whether it's drugs, unsafe sex, or general assholery (thanks for the word, Graham!). I assume your children aren't too happy with this situation either. I hope things get better for you man, I really do.

Thanks. I appriaciate that. But it IS getting better all ready. Removing myself from her insanity and spending time with "normal" women has been an eye opening reminder. Not all chicks are THAT screwed up

That's what I keep telling myself, at least.

Of course I wouldn't know what to do with a truely normal one. Of course, I've only seen them on TV.

Normal is boring.

Well, I'm now beginning to feel the effects of allergies. And it won't end until the first (maybe even second) frost. Which means that life will be on a tissue by tissue basis for a while. Makes classes difficult... and just plain breathing. Going through a box every three days, and thats with Benedryl (I can't take any other allergy meds due to nasty side affects (anger type)). I've also already had five years of allergy shots.
Suffice it to say, life is a nuisance for a while.
