It's rough, my man. But listen to Mikey, he knows what he's talking about. I know that this is a cliche, but it's still true, "time heals". It's understandable if your wondering what you did was the right thing, if the pain was worth it, and all sorts of other stuff. Just remember to be good to yourself, as well as other people.

Yeah, Reliant. And whenever you need to vent, we've got our ears open.

Hopefully you can find that special someone someday. :)

And not just someone special just for today..............although, for us older folk, those are fun too.

Sorry to hear that, Reliant. However, since you had a good reason it probably was for the best. Keeping the relationship up otherwise would just be lying to both you and him. It may not be pleasant, but it's the best course of action.
And, as cliche as it sounds, there's plenty more fish in the sea. You'll find the right guy someday. :)

Thankfully, both he and I seem to be coping amiably. My main issue was i wasn't sure if i was ready for anything super serious.

Rochey, I have an Irish friend! Yorkshiremen are second only to the Irish for drinking, so I was slightly disappointed to find out he couldn't hold his ale too well. Though he does retain some Irish qualities - on our first night out he pointed at the floor and there was just a tenner laying there. As someone pointed out: "luck of the Irish". I'm in a group of 6 drinking buddies/hall friends, the Irish guy, a Welsh guy, two cockney lasses and a Cumbrian girl. They're struggling to tell what I'm saying because I'm from up 'North.
I've also had a constant hangover for a week. Sometimes I can't even tell when I'm sober.

Should've gone another couple of hours - you might have drank yourself sober in time for your seminar.

I'm sorry, is that red one a car, or a pregnant rollerskate? :poke: I understand the need for fuel efficiency, but a Honda Civic looks better and is about as fuel efficient, not to mention Hondas in general are extremely reliable cars. As for the top car, I like it. Looks kinda like a new Subaru Impreza.

Whittington, one problem: Money.

We simply DONT have the money for a honda.

Lets have a look: the Kia Picanto = £5,995
Honda Civic = £14,530

Big difference

And the fuel consumption is rubbish. The Combined for the Honda is 47.9 mpg. The combined for the Kia is 57.6 mpg

Big difference.

Besides, they are different cars. the Honda is a hatchback, the Kia is a city car.
