The Spartacus quote would've actually made me laugh more, only because I can't help but think of Tony Curtis' "I love you, Spartacus" - spoken as the only Roman slave to ever have an accent from Brooklyn, New York.

So, I've heard some talk that we have some members here without ships named after them. If you want one, speak up, and one of us will "creatively" assign you a ship

USS Nickswitz

The USS Nickswitz is a subtype of the Daystrom class, outfitted more towards the role of scout. She has sacrificed some of her firepower for a more efficient warp core and larger impulse engines making her the fastest ship of the class, yet the lightest armed. As this ship is scarcly combat effective with her reduced weapons capacity, her Captain has had to master the art of the "Ninjitsu" manuver, in which the ship vanishes from plain sight. The biggest drawback to this manuver is that the ship never knows when it will re-appear.

USS Lazar

The USS Lazar has been sitting in space dock for years. The Ship's Captain kept putting off the final sign off on construction delaying the final build of the ship. When it was finally completed, the Lazar found itself in the middle of the action, eager to demonstrate it's ability. It has found itself on the front lines of intellegence gathering and defending it's position. The Lazar has greatly increased the ability of the Fleet since it's belated induction.

USS ZimBOBway

The Captain of the Starship "Bob" is the youngest in the entire history of the fleet to ever turn down a command. Upon being offered command of the Daystrom class vessel, he actually refused not once but twice, requesting command of a Prometheus class starship. After recieving two slaps to the back of his head from his older brothers (also Daystrom Captains) he finally accepted command. Due to his age and inexperience, he often finds himself shadowed by either the USS Stitch or the USS Nickswitz during missions, both difficult and routine. The last time, he actually locked torpedoes on the USS Stitch until her Captain withdrew.
