Besides that, you get the satisfaction of cleansing the galaxy with the purifying power of flame.
And the fun of setting an enemy on fire.
OK, I guess I'm set with that. I'll post it up sometime soon.
I guess the availability puts manstopper stub rounds out of the picture, right?

Can't have everything, I suppose. Oh well - you don't get if you don't ask, right?

More grenades and firebombs...
I will however permit one item each that wouldn't be on there, like a force sword, mesh armour etc. Keep in mind that if you ask for a boltgun/bolter you might end up with something unexpected.
Should I be worried about something unexpected in asking for a launcher?

Well you might end up with a single shot break open. I don't want to break the game just yet. We'll wait for the ship for that.
I still want there to be an element of difficulty in other words. So if Phebia asks for a bolter she might end up with an Angelus bolt carbine, which is quite powerful (uses Astartes rounds) but only holds three, takes a long time to reload and can only fire on single shot.

I'd be fine with that, though you'll need to provide the stats as I've only got the dark Hersey book. Mostly I just want to be able to use my explosives at a decent distance, my 6 meter tossing range is just a tad short for a character better suited for the back lines.

That works. Though I must say it's odd, that a single shot, break open model takes two rounds to reload, while a six shot cylinder fed one can be reloaded in 1. It takes twice as long to stick one grenade into a tube as it does to stick six grenades into a drum that either has to rotated or removed entirely to load and then clipped back in?
Guess I better go engage the quartermaster for my pyro fix.

Well if the drum is like a mag then yeah it would be pretty quick to reload, few seconds at most. But some of the stuff in the rulebooks are just plain weird and don't many any sense to my ex military mind.

Yeah, though damn, carrying a few of those around would be heavy as hell.

Probably a case of the different book's authors not checking for stat consistancy.

Definitely.

Likely. The core rulebook was written by Black Industries and the expansions by Fantasy Flight Games. Honestly I wish they would just release them in a large uber-volume like the upcoming WFRP 3rd Edition. They could smooth out inconsistencies and make it easier to look for stuff.

Sweet...uh, you got the stats on those? Not in my rule book.

Probably a clumsy way of describing the difference between a break-open, breech loader and a simple flip-open drum.

Oh and doing a general tech-use on the quartermaster's gear and supplies, got a 15. What sort of shape is this stuff in?
