This is true, I was basing it merely on if we had the choice.
Theres a part of me that likes the idea of a transport thats been mega modded. If thats possible.

I gotcha. Kendall had stated that we'll actually be given a ship (though I doubt it will come without strings,) so our ship points will be free for toys.Reliant121 wrote:This is true, I was basing it merely on if we had the choice.

Given the high number of SP we have available, we could do a pretty large number of mods if necessary. Even a moderate modification session (mouthful or what!) Would be good, and leave us with an even higher PF.

The Millenium Falcon school of hotrodding. Looks like a piece of shit on the outside but has it where it counts.
As for who we're in debt to, I have an idea.

What, you weren't gonna spend a couple of SP on a flame job and big blower with butterfly valves?Tyyr wrote:Looks like a piece of s**t on the outside but has it where it counts.
I do too, and I hope I'm wrong.Tyyr wrote:As for who we're in debt to, I have an idea.

A flame job yes, a blower? Fuck that, turbo is more efficient.

Yeah but it doesn't scream like a supercharger. Besides, Reliant's our AdMech... we'd probably drop oil pressure and blow it.

Re: Rogue Trader General Disscussion
If we want fast, cheap but powerful... is there an option for the Slaughter Class Cruiser? Personally, I'd rather have a good ship for starting. We can always gain profit over time and having a better ship allows for better missions.

Re: Rogue Trader General Disscussion
Well, we're getting a ship, so we have 50 ship points to mod it. Since most components are under 5-10 points, we can probably rig it up pretty good (I want a librarium vault for an office, BTW.)

True, but we don't know what grade of ship it is. Can we wait for Kendall to tell us what ship he's willing to give us before deciding or do we have to pick now?

Of course we'll wait. As long as we get something with a decent amount of space, we can trick it out nice and have the advantage of looking innocent.

True, wolf in sheep's clothing is a nice theme. We could nab ourselves a lot of pirates with that. Selling pirate ships to the Imperium would turn a very handsome profit. Plus it would give us a lot of exp for combat.
