I've just finished my first (abbreviated) week of class: A bunch of sections on Wed and Thu handing out syllabuses and going over course guidelines. I have a four day weekend (ordinarily it'll be 3 as I've no Fri classes but have a holiday off next Monday for Labor day making it 4) starting now.

However, I've also gotten an offer from one of my profs that he put in my name for an internship being offered by one of his industry contacts! I have been doing web-based writing work for pay, but actual practical experience in engineering would go a long way when I graduate (three semesters including the one I'm just starting).

Just so you know, DEFCON 5 means all is well. DEFCON 1 means WWIII.

Now to address your actual problem...um....watch her dance and have a good time doing it? Thats what I do.

I play 9 instruments with a fair degree of proficiency, and my ancestors were all about dancing, but I rarely dance because I think it looks f*cking stupid 90% of the time, and dancing = too much knee movement for me.

I agree with MM&I: just take a seat, and watch her dance. Alternatively, you could just do what I do on occasion, and purposely make fun of club dancing; I call it "parody dancing", and a number of girls have remarked that I'm a "good dancer" after seeing it...

...so, just make everyone think I'm making an ass of myself on purpose? Ok, I do that on a regular basis anyway. And yes, I'll let her do most of the dancing. Besides, she drinks and I don't so, maybe things can get interesting somehow :happydevil:

I can dance pretty well, you could always take some E, that makes anyone a good dancer.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I've always been told to be a good dancer. I can compensate for drunken aunts being crap on the dance floor.

I was also told that i should do ballet when i was small cause i spent my life on my tip-toes.

I'm petrified of dancing. I usually have the luxury of not being made to do it until I'm walloped (when of course, you don't care!)but I guess you don't have that option if you're on a date (and need to maybe save yourself for later :)) In an emergency, I just usually smile a lot and sway a bit and let her throw all the shaps!
