Then you must be certified - ergo, a teacher.

As long as we aren't being picky about what I'm certified to do...

"Ahhh, an educator, and what do you teach good Sir?" I asked. "I teach respect." he growled and cracked his knuckles loudly.

Why do old guys feel they are entitled, even obligated, to walk around completely naked whenever they set foot in a locker room? Seriously, no one, especially not a bunch of other guys, wants to see you in your old, hairy, wrinkly birthday suit.

Because they have no fear of showing what they've got.

Depends on the sitch. If you mean walking from the showers to the lockers, then why bother? You've just been bare-ass nekkid in front of everyone in a communal shower, so why bother covering up for the eight-pace trip to the lockers? If you mean standing in front of the mirror blow-drying your hair... then, yeah.

The locker room in question has private shower stalls.

I still say that it depends on the sitch. If the guy is in a normal pathway from shower to locker, or shower to sauna, etc., then it's not a lack of dignity or out of the ordinary simply because you don't like the look of it. If he's parading around nude from the shower, past three rows of lockers, by the sink, past the door, and then to the changing area, then there's a problem.

Well, here's one under the category "Men are from Mars; women are from Hell:"

My wife and daughter (the little one attends the school at which the older one works) had a half-day today, after which my wife had to go for pre-admission tests and my daughter was going to Grandma's to bake for the holiday. I had Destructo- er, I mean, my son - all day. I had one chore which I wanted to complete today, which was to simply fix about 6 feet of molding... which chore was assumed (and I can't stress this enough) at my wife's request. Well, Godzilla- um, I mean, my son - finally goes down for a nap at about 2:30. My wife calls at 3:30, at which point I'm trying to finish the molding before the rugrat wakes up. She starts talking about how the tests were fine, which is great, when I express to her the fact that I need to finish, as I don't have much time left to do the thing which she wanted me to do.

What time do I get off the phone? 4:15, when she heard my son crying over the phone. :bangwall: If she told me all the tests were fine, do I need to hear over the phone about how the stress test was fine; and then how the EKG was fine; and then how the echo was fine; and then how the EEG was fine...

So I assume there was no opportunity for the phone line to suffer a slight technical problem involving a pair of garden shears?
