I've seen that before. Like. But why do you like it? Is it just because Boston lost, regardless of who won?Royal_Foxx wrote:I know not too many baseball fans on here, but this is a cute reenactment of one of the pivotal moments of the 1986 World Series by boys in an orphanage in Kenya.

I like the video because those boys are freaking adorable. I read about it and the man who made the video says the boy who played Roger Clemans started insisting everyone call him Roger, he wouldn't answer to anything else.Mikey wrote:I've seen that before. Actually, the professor would be in potentially more trouble than the student if what he is saying is true: him having access to such sensitive and classified material. There are rules and laws about where that data can be stored and how it can be transported. If the data is even close in “value” as to what he is hinting it should not be on a regular laptop. If allowed on a laptop of any kind it would have to be encrypted to levels that your typical college student would not be able to hack into. I am not even talking about just the files, but the laptop itself. This professor would be fearing for his own future. He would potentially be up for treason for being so careless with that kind of information. Homeland Security and other branches of Feds in black suits would be very interested in discussing his decision making abilities. If any of what he said is true I can guarantee that he has not notified ANYONE beyond those in that class that the laptop is missing.Coalition wrote:College professor suggests a thief return his laptop:

This just feels so... wrong to me.IanKennedy wrote:Ever wondered what is inside a camera lens and why they cost quite so much? Well watch this and you will start to wonder how they cost so little. Just to add a little context to what you are about to see. This lens is the wonderfully named "Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM" which, whilst it has a very snappy name, has a recommended price in the UK of £1,410. It goes for a street price of £950 or $970 in a US on-line shop.

As you can see at the end of this he has basically got a pot for pencils, a very very expensive pot for pencils!
