Aye, I am a Yorkshire lad, Staplic, you should have my sheet now, but I probably won't be able to regain internet access until Sunday so I'll have to reply to everybody's Pm's then, I'm quickly borrowing somebody else's computer, and transferred my sheet with a flashdrive.

I'd rather have a set of 5's, or half week 5's. For me I don't have anything in a position where I can really just set back and let things run for any real length of time. I've got too many things I need to tweak and work on.

I am wide open for how many we do but would prefer to do 5 year turns. Diplomacy will already be limited enough with that.

5 year suites me for managing projects and such. But next year im hoping to have a massive increase in trade. are we having a set up year, then "fast track" years?

I think so. Right now micro managing works best for me. Really for the first three to five years I'll be needing to tweak everything on a yearly basis. I can live with five year turns but ten will kill me.

Yeah, Ill need to be constantly working on diplomatic relations and the such throughout those five year turns, so I would much rather five years each then ten, makes it easier to manage things,

Heck, we could do 3 5 year turns if people wanted. 10 is just too long.

Agreed, I'm not against more extended turns just that they aren't longer than 5 years each.

I have an idea for both SIMS. What say one five year turn per month? Our game is pretty much running one year/one turn/one week. Say the last gaming week of the month goes to a five year turn. That will give us the time needed to tweak things, AND that magical week to move forward.

If you figure it took me in real time a month to develp updated torp tech, and two and a half months to develp cloaking tech (in alpha SIM), you'll see the advantages
