It's actually legal here in Texas if you can prove you're Native American.

Yeah, but I've got none in me. Can I get some on her proxy?
JK. I'm an old wharf rat, going on nearly 20 years, and proud of it.
Well, I still drink, but only occasionally and not to the point of alcoholism like I used to.

What does the term "wharf rat" mean?

Technically, it refers to Deadheads who have chosen to go clean and sober, and often set up informational events and help at shows. The name comes from the eponymous song, about a blind wino who vows to clean himself up and get "back on my feet someday." If you're interested:

Ahh, I see. I suppose I'd qualify as well, as I am a current concert-goer, and former drug user. I saw you use the term in a thread talking to Uzume (who still has no internet access, damn hillbilly town), and I sort of missed the connotation.

Plantersville, Texas. Home of absolutely nothing. It's 60 miles from Houston...
I'll check that out.

Like so:
Code: Select all

It becomes:

Yeah it took me ages to work out.
That and how to make the quote box say who you are quoting. Only worked that one out a few weeks ago.
