Jaywalking is crossing a street without regards to traffic. Instead of crossing at a light, you cross in the middle of the street. Or you walk through the traffic instead of the crosswalk. Or crossing the street when the traffic lights say "Don't Walk." For a coupe of months in the 90's, the NYPD could issue a ticket to anyone caught jaywalking.Griffin wrote:Wow, what a dick.
