Exactly. I know quite abit about Iron Man since he was my favorite superhero as a kid (can't wait for the Hulkbuster armor), but not so much with the others.

I don't get it. Don't we already have sub-launched missiles? This seems like just launching a sub-launched missile from a surface vessel.

I don't want to start discussing weapons... but it just seems like this platform makes the ship deck safe even during firing. With the soft launch from the tube, the deck and crew are not exposed to the exhaust plume from the missile.

It's a Russian anti ship missile. The idea is that it's easy to fit to old, small ships that don't have space to mount a new missile launcher - the Russians have a ton of anti submarine platforms with torpedo tubes, so you can easily stick these into the existing tubes and it has a nice soft cold launch.

IDK if that's one of the worst things ever, or one of the best because of how bad it is. It's a giant bullet-friggin'-proof shark that fought kung fu with a walking tank! You can't even say that without smiling.
