"Brrrt... Brrrrrrat."
"Darmok and Jilad at Tanagra."
"Brrrrt."
Yeah, that conversation is going to end well.

Yes, sorry. Let me dig it up.
Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Please forgive me for the fact that I haven't gotten anything back to you BIG, I've been really busy starting college this week, next week I will be able to actually give you a spreadsheet, this week I've just been too busy for it.
Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Lol.....I think Big is a bit busy too.

No problem. If people could just have stuff in sometime early Monday its fine. I have been out of town since Wen. night at a bank conference.
Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Hey Big, will we be having any more multi year turns in Alpha Sim?

Not so long as you guys are shooting at stuff no.Mark wrote:Hey Big, will we be having any more multi year turns in Alpha Sim?
Also a note. If you choose to do a battle in the hex format I have to have you work with me on getting those turned around within a week. Unless it is really important then I don't want to stop the game so you can monkey stomp some smallish NPC fleet. Thanks.
Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Ok....as soon as I get a map, I'll monkey stomp them for you, via Skype or whatever 8)

Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
Yeah, you have not even issued orders on who is moving there since no one has moved in yet. But we are not running that battle. There is no point. You are attacking people armed with weapons that can't even hurt you unless they outnumbered you 10 to 1. Unless you send in like 3 ships you are going to win pretty simply. At least in space.Mark wrote:Ok....as soon as I get a map, I'll monkey stomp them for you, via Skype or whatever 8)
Re: Alpha Star Trek Sim discussion
What would you say the odds would be that they would surrender at a show of military might arriving at their homeworld?

Considering that they were prepared to fight the E-D regardless of their relative strength... I'd say "don't count on it."Mark wrote:What would you say the odds would be that they would surrender at a show of military might arriving at their homeworld?
