It just pisses me off so damned much. "Muh freedumbs!" Assholes.
Me too. I had a great job and right now I chew gum to give me something to do.
If only this country was such a divided (always was) country on fundamentals maybe the Covid virus wouldnt have progressed too far as it does now. Maybe if they didn't treat masks like a God damn breach of personal freedom.
Worse part about it, is the fact they use bogus science as 'proof'. Just looking for excuses that is all.

Haven't seen anyone make a big deal out of having to wear shirts or shoes inside stores...
You’ve clearly not been to Walmart

The Freedummies were so stupid about the mask, that the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbot (R), was forced to make them mandatory in order to stem the increasing COVID-19 cases.

Funny thing is that the three Walmarts around me are in decent areas where you wouldn't get some questionable people. Nope. You get those questionable people.
I was in Walmart right before the mandatory masks went to effect, and I was looking at plastic containers. I started to smell something bad. Like a combination of fish and shit. Within a couple of minutes here comes a older woman. Her hair at first glance looked like it was in a pony tail. It wasn't. Her hair by the looks of it became that jumbled mess into a matted tail like a dread lock. She had a shirt on that was semi transparent but not by design. It was a regular t shirt that became that.
Worse was her smell. That fish shit smell was her and was magnified 100 fold the moment she was in my aisle. I stayed as long as I could before I decided I didn't need plastic containers or anything from that store that day.
Other times I just see people dress weird. Could be on purpose to mess with people. But that fish shit smelling dreadlock see thru shirt older lady was my first true Walmart moment.

Florida County Commissioner Who Voted Against Masks In Hospital With COVID
Paul Waldron—the commissioner for St. Johns County just south of Jacksonville, Florida—has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in the hospital in critical condition. Last week, Waldron voted against a countywide order requiring all residents to wear face masks as a way to prevent coronavirus infections.
According to News 4 Jax, Waldron wasn't "necessarily opposed" to the face mask requirement, but wanted county administrators to clarify the types of masks required and whether the county could provide sufficient supplies for employees and citizens entering government buildings.
In a Facebook post written by his daughter, she said he was in the "most critical of conditions," adding that because of "complications from the virus, he went into septic shock and many organs are struggling."
"The hospital is working hard to keep him comfortable and continuously monitoring him," she wrote in a follow-up post on Friday evening. "His blood gas levels have improved today and numbers are holding."

Maybe someone can locate it but Trump said the reason why he is wearing it is because he looks cool.
I think he just didn't want to wear white ones because he knew his spray tan or makeup would rub off.

He also stated that he liked a black mask, because it made him look like the Lone Ranger....

Twitter VId: We were cruising along until the Chinese Communist Party basically hit us with that deadly virus
Florida reports 15,300 new COVID-19 cases — a record for one day anywhere in the U.S.
Sunday, Florida reported the most new COVID-19 cases any state has in a single day, 15,300.
This blew past the previous high, 12,274 by New York on April 4, by 3,026 or 24.6%.
With that massive leap, Florida has added 69,700 cases since last Sunday, 269,811 since the start of the pandemic. The 45 deaths reported Sunday brought that total to 4,346.
Throughout the pandemic, the daily case report numbers on Sundays have tended to be lower than the five days previous because fewer people work in labs and enter data on the weekends. So, Sunday reflects Saturday’s decrease in processing tests and reporting results.
Monday tends to be a reflection of a similar decrease on Sunday, but also a normal amount of data entry happening early Monday.
The recommended number of daily tests needed varies among experts, but the dean of the University of South Florida’s College of Medicine has told Gov. DeSantis that Florida needs to test about 33,000 people every day.
On Sunday, Florida’s Department of Health reported another 99,003 people have been tested.
To date, 2,576,813 people have been tested in Florida and about 10.5% have tested positive.
