Moreover, 'friendship' is not a good name for a battleship. In fact it's pretty crap.

Ajax! that's the one name I couldn't think of! I kept thinking, "I'm missing a British battlecruiser name here...It's relatively famous...but which one?!?" River Plate right?
Exeter, although she was a (rather weak) heavy cruiser, not a battlecruiser. And that's exactly what I though when I saw Ajax and Achilles.
What are you two going on about? MM&I suggested Achilles (Achilleus) who was the mightiest Mycenaean hero and the protagonist of the Iliad, so I just suggested the names of two more heroes from the same poem: Ajax (Aias) and Diomedes.

Ah, after Greek heroes. Of course. Wouldn't want to name them anything like Cu Chulainn, or Arthur, or Tam O'Shanter, or any folk heroes native to the British Isles, would we?

I was going for the 3 british cruisers from the Battle of the River Plate (Exeter, Ajax and Achilles (Achilles right Seafort?) vs. the German Graf Spree).

2 More suggestions btw:

Graf Spee
Pinz Eugen

Also, is anyone going to post us back to Starbase in the Beta thread or can I just do that?

Gotcha. I think it was "Spey," though. And I hate to keep repeating myself, but I'd still have to guess that the most famous British warship of the modern era was HMS Warspite.

It was spelt Graf Spee, although pronounced Spey
