In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

I really am unsettled by some of these images - it's looking more and more like some kind of self-parody, at least in the aesthetic department.

Interesting idea - although I think this might be a pretty great example of when we Star Trek fans create massive explanations for apparent canonical inconsistencies. It is indeed fun, but it's better when I at least fell the people behind are at least somewhat behind us.

It's a Re-imagining, from what I've heard.
Ah, alright then.
From what I understand, there's a time travel element involved causing some sort of divergent timeline where the movie and subsequent sequels will take place. Literally a "New" Trek. New, but with the spirit of the old it seems. This doesn't make established Trek canon any less valid, it just neatly sidesteps whatever issues they would normally have w/ a prequel.
Frankly, I see problems inherent in this. Even if it's a fun movie, I have always held Star Trek, including the films, to a higher standard. This alternate timeline thing just sort of seems contrived. Conveniently, it gets us 24th century/canon fans excited because of Leonard Nimoy, etc., yet it also offers a newer, cooler, hipper Star Trek reboot for all the cool kids. Meh. This just doesn't sound like a good Trek story. I still intend to go in there with as open a mind as possible, but I hope the alternate timeline card is not played again. That was so overused on Voyager. Perhaps it will be used well, as in Yesterday's Enterprise or the Visitor, but I kind of doubt it.

Isn't that an oxymoron?
I've always wondered, what exactly are the problems with Enterprise and the canon? I'm just now going through the series again, and I'm not at all. So far most issues appear to be explainable.

I bet we will get a bunch of new members that come in because of that movie and know nothing about the rest of trek.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

We will make them recognise the superiority of the old Trek series.

Can you make Teaos recognize the superiority of the old Trek series?
