We've already pointed out our dislike of the name. Read back.

All you've said is that you don't like the way it 'sounds'. Perhaps if you could provide a more valid concern about the name other then it doesn't sound 'tough' enough I might understand where you're coming from. Why does an Intrepid-class ship even need to sound 'tough'? It's not like it's a warship, or even a combat oriented ship.

To be frank, thats not important. nor is the reason. The fact remains. you like it. we dont. end of story. now. we need to find a compromise. explaining why you like/dislike is not relevant.

We think USS Pegasus sounds lame. Therein lies our problem.

You're going to have to provide something more then "sounds lame" for me to help you out here.

If I say yes, will you stop typing in capital letters?

I know, but I don't know why you think it sounds lame, or how it sounds lame. If you explained I could help create a compromise.

If it gets your attention finally then i will stop.

I think it sounds lame purely because the alternatives are alot better. Valkyrie and Belleraphon sound alot better.

and I think theres som history going on. Pegasus was the name of a washed up science vessel. not fitting for a Intrepid is it?

I think Pegasus sounds lame because I think it sounds bland, uninteresting and plain.

Indeed. It's become plain.

The Pegasus was a ship that tested Galaxy-class systems and a phase-cloaking device. It pushed the limits of modern technology, and her crew fought for what was lawfully right. Seems very fitting.

That is a subjective analysis, and hardly grounds to complain. I'm not complaining about the Paladin sounding stupid, boring and dorky for that same reason

That's a Greek tragedy that suggests you shouldn't push the limits of exploration.
