Whew!
My idea with the super-shuttle was to end up in the heat of battle running interference/cover for the Dakota and to end up using it to help secure a beachhead for the Dakota's troops. The other way - asteroid-hopping - works, too. I just had the feeling that it would make sense to bring our PC's back together at some point.

Considering the asteroid belt, could the pirates have gravity mines to attract asteroids to nearby stranded ships? That would be pretty dangerous for the shields as theywould have to deal with kinetic force. Something like that will have to be takein into account anyway, gravity mines or not, because I think ships are bound to collide with them in that system, cosidering how big they are.

Yeah, I think I'll downgrade them a little.
Here we are (sans torpedoes):

Armament: 7x rapid-fire disruptor cannons, total output: 35,000 Terawatts.
Defense Systems: Standard shield system, total capacity 900,000 terajoules.
Standard Duranium single hull plus 25 cm high density armor.
Low level structural integrity field.
Strength Indices -

Torpedo firepower: -
Weapon range and accuracy: 400

Better? Or still too strong in terms of the Brotherhood's capabilities?

I think these Asteroid guns could combine to give the same sort of firepower as the combined phaser power of a Galaxy Class, but no torpedos.

The new walker of Munro's going to have a lot of issues with it and be generally useless.
I figured since Chariots, Elephants, and Tanks were all used to support the normal troops before sent enmasse it would make sense for these new walkers to do likewise.
People never listen to history.

Oh just wanted to clear things up the walker's legs don't go straight down like a cheap Star Wars rip off
They go out then downwards to give better stablity.

Well, she challenged a bunch of kids fresh out of the acadamy to a dogfight. I didn't think I said she was in charge.

lol no its just she hasn't flown in a few years and was fresh out of the academy too. I don't want you to think I'm thinking negative about it or anything just I didn't know M'Real was that good o.o
11-1 odds are pretty tough. Like Red Baron tough.

While she was fresh out of the academy she was the second best pilot in her class. Second to her adapted sister, although her grades were much better because her sister had issues with authority.
But ya...with her natural skills combined with her adopted sister's tricks she's pretty good.

There's 7 fighters in a wing/squadron.

From Wikipedia:
An air force, army aviation or naval aviation squadron typically consists of three or four flights, with a total of 12 to 24 aircraft, depending on aircraft type and air force.

You mean a trek one? Okay that's not terribly bad then. I guess that makes sense Blackstar if she kept her training up.

And that has relevance here... How? On the Daystrom there are 7 to each 'Wing'.

A 'wing'/group is 3-10 squadrons in USAF or 3-4 in the RAF. 7 fighters would be a small squadron. I believe I specified a full squadron which usually refers to a dozen when dealing with fighter-craft. A smaller unit would be a flight which would consist of 4-6 craft.
