Words seem so inadequate at a time like this, unfortunately, that is all I can offer. Ian and Graham, so sorry for your loss, hold on to the good memories.

Ian, Graham, I am
so sorry.
I know how inadequate that is, but it's all I can offer. I wish I could offer more.

So, I went to work Wednesday as normal, then lost a few hours, then woke up in the hospital. Docs are claiming it is likely a diabetic issue, but I have to follow up with a neurologist to see if it was a more traditional type of seizure.

Pretty good, actually, thanks. Took Friday off and serendipitously had Saturday off, had no problems Sunday night or at a management seminar this morning.
Nobody mentioned out-of-control corticosteroid antagonism as a possible cause, but the hospitalist was firm in instructing me to eliminate one of my angiotensin inhibitor drugs from my regimen. I still take one along with a selective beta blocker, so hopefully the effect on my blood pressure won’t be much. So for now, all I can do is try to keep a tight grip on my blood glucose, hope there are no neurological issues at play because there is no control behavior in that case, and in the words of the Grateful Dead “nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.”

Thanks. I just keep doing me, as the kids say these days, and I’ll go when it’s my time. As the late, great Brad Nowell wrote, “Fuck it, and fight it, it’s all the same.”

Graham, Ian - my condolences. Apologies for being late to the thread, I've not been on much lately.
Mikey - my thoughts are with you.
