Trust me, I understand. I had one teacher for my senior year that everyone else called Janet. Even after graduation, I still called her Mrs. G*****. It was hard for me when she said to start calling her Janet.
BTW: I'm only 20 yrs old; if I was in my 30s I might be fine with being called Ms, since I could possibly be a teacher at that age. But at this age, it makes me feel prematurely old. I'm still in school myself (annoying college :bangwall: )

I'm so used to being called by my first name that when I'm at the doctor's and they call Ms. ___, I'm like 'Huh?'

People who know me on FB will probably relate: at a doctor's office, or similar situation, people usually end up calling me by my first name - after they've taken a few halting efforts to pronounce my last name.

Can we have a smiley that sticks out it's tongue? When I do it with the typical txting fashion I get :P .
Or is "razz" sticking out its tongue? I can't tell.

What else could it be? Did someone just tear off the smiley's jaw, or something?

No ms. required. It's either the full IntrepidPrincess 8) (which no one seems to use, which is fine) or Princess :girl: . I for one like being called just "Princess". That used to be one of the nicknames my mom would use for me when I was little (I should add, it's the only one I still like). You can call me that just like everyone else if you want (however if you feel compelled to call me ms, I will not complain every time you do :( . but I really don't like formality, even among those younger than me).
Sorry, I live with the constant stigma as "Most polite child of school" because I insist on using mrs./sir. whatever to teachers. It's just something that i've grown up with, an innate sense of overbearing politeness. I'll try to remember that :)

Never, never, never call me "Mr. Mark" :whack:
