Just been to Spain for a week to visit my sister, nephew and niece - a place called Sitges next to Barcelona. Well, I'm so nackered it's unbelievable - looking after a 1 and 2/3 (it was his birthday yesterday) year old is ridiculously hard, and my nephew is still biting/hitting/kicking, especially aimed at his little sister.
Tomorrow I'm off on my trip to Paris for a few nights... Then in a bit over a week it's results day. I think I'll be as drunk as possible for that so that all my Cs look like As

There are good and bad parts of my day. It's my sister's birthday so I'm pretty much ignored today, on the other hand the NASCAR race is at Pocono, so that's exciting. :D

No, it's just an interesting track. One of the more difficult ones, and an unusual super-speedway at that. You have to break hard entering turn one, then the tunnel turn(a tunnel to the infield goes under that turn) and the third turn which underwent some revamping. Then a long straitaway between turn three and one. If you can't get a guy in one turn you can wait for the next, or try to pass in the straitaway. The race just ended, with a lot of guys just barely making it fuel-wise. A lot of guys coasting across the finish, many getting pushed back to the garage by teammates or official trucks.

oh, that is so funny I forgot to laugh :P

But Pocono is one of the tougher tracks for racers. At the end of yesterday's race it came down to the wire fuel wise. A lot of guys were extreamly low or even out of fuel at the finish line. A risk they took rather then lose time in the pits. My favorite driver was in the lead but couldn't make it on fuel and had to pit. If there had been a yellow flag there probably would've been yellow-flag gas and gos, and my driver would be back out front, but one never came out. But hey, those are the breaks.

This may be me being ignorant, if so enlighten me, but how can a round track be more difficult than another one?
