The more of that model I see, the more I want to try and make one.

OK, so the Inferno cannon has a range of 75m but does anyone have an idea how much of a width the stream would have?

The flame template is 25* from the center line.

So 12.5* radius.

No, degrees, as in an angle.

I'm thinking it's a Salamander for the base and then they hacked the top off a Chimera and tacked it on to the Sally. Still, if I had the cash and an IG army that's what every single Chimera would look like.

Lexicanum's entry for the Chimera's dimensions are odd.
Length: 6.90m
Width: 5.70m
Height: 3.72m
The only solution I can come up with is that the troops in the thing are sitting with one row against each side wall with two rows sitting back to back down the middle of the vehicle. Sort of a [ ][ ] arrangement. That's the only way to cram 12 guys into a vehicle that short. Also explains the fact that it only has 3 firing ports on each side and why the thing is so ridiculously wide. So what's going to be the ruling on the canonicity of these dimensions? Are they actually stated in a book somewhere or just scaled of the model as I suspect?

I suspect the dimensions come from Imperial Armour, which seems to be where the Salamander, Atlas and Leman Russ stuff come from.

That's plenty long and wide for twelve men, the M113 is smaller and can hold eleven men. The thing with APCs and armor in general is that your packed in like sardines and all your personal kit is in racks or hung off the side.

75m x 27m? Looks like Mikey is going to be carving through enemy infantry like a roast.

The width is all that saves it. I realize the M113 is smaller but the thing is that it has no turret taking up a big part of it's internal volume. The Chimera does. That's why I was comparing it to IFV's and not APC's. The damn thing is nearly 19 feet wide.

Using Deep's angle that's what it comes out as and it certainly looks like the GW flamer template.

Keep in mind that it's engines are in the sides.
