I know someone asked about the Chem Dogs rebreathers and the vox trigger but i can't rremember who or if I answered. They can be triggered individually by the Commissar or the Arbites, the frequency is helpfully engraved on the front of the mask (left hose) and the back of the pack and painted in white.

If they brought in the Chem'dogs then the PDF would have been evacuated already. No reason to waste troops by leaving them behind.
