Some type of foam or moulded plastic IIRC.

What are the blinkey red dots around the circles next to the thread title???? I've tried to figure out from day one what it means if the red dot is blinking, and what it means if it's not there. Queteya doesn't have a blinkey dot, but most of the ones I've replied to do. What does it mean???????????????????

It means a hot thread, certain number of post in a certain amount of time IIRC.

It means the thread has got a certain number of posts, allowing you to identify busy threads.

Oh. That makes sense.
