I've got an interview for a salaried job! It's not massively high, its about £15,000 a year but it's a damn sight better than I'm getting now and its in one of our largest banking groups, meaning plenty of opportunity to chop and change and progress.

Going up is always good especially in pay.

Because I'm currently only working part time and in retail I barely make £4500 a year. So it's quite a big step up!

In an unrelated note, I'm finding out 100% once and for all tomorrow whether I'm diabetic or not. Could be interesting.

May you get the job and not diabetes. I'll say a prayer for you and cheer you on, Reliant.

Yes, diabetes is definitely not something to take lightly. If the news is bad though, don't hesitate to ask me anything.
I am just back home today from three days at the southern NJ beach resort of Wildwood, which was well enjoyed. We seemed to miss the rain, as it rained the day before we arrived (Sunday) and today, the day we checked out and left in the morning. For the three days we spent there conditions were pleasant, with low 80's high temperatures, some clouds but a nice sea breeze and no rain. Also, I still have a few days to rest at home before I get back to work next Wednesday.

Yeah it has been almost perfect for the past three days or so. Even last Friday was nice.
I think this is the wettest summer I have seen in a long time.

Doctor's appointment Monday. Hopefully I can get my ears looked at.

Recovering from perhaps the worst mistake ever last night. I guess everyone pushes their alcohol tolerances too far but it's a bit much when you get an ambulance called to the party your at. Feeling rather stupid now!

Ah... you're better now, Reliant?

I can eat and I'm no longer being sick, which is an improvement. I've managed to pull a load of muscles in my stomach though making sitting down and standing up quite painful.
I suppose everyone has to do it at least once.

Hmm, guess I'm still waiting on mine, then.

Perhaps you are just a lot more sensible than most people.

Got the blood work back. 12 hour fasting blood sugars came back 6.9 which I'm told is just below what would be classified as a diabetic but quite a way above what is normal. I have to have a routine consultation with my GP in about 2 weeks time so yet more waiting!
