Maybe when they got home not when they have nearly as many prisoners on board as crewmen I would think.

Indeed. The middle of hostile space is not the place to go putting your chief of security on trial for something that's quite apparent to the other officers was not wrong.

No. IF an investigation turned up anything, there would be hearings, followed by an indictment (IF the hearing showed enough non-circumstantial evidence and no mitigating factors,) and - IF the indictment showed validity of charges, finally a trial.

So...what does this mean in laymen's terms?

I think it means that there would be an investgation first. Boush would continue being an officer and what not. If that found cause it would move to hearings where the evidence would be given prosecutors who would see if there was enough evidence to go to a trial. If there was there would be a former indictment-- the actual arrest or house arrest or removal from duty. Then it would go to trial.

I am back in my fridge, and one holdeck is now empty and ready for use to put people in.

A note as well, m'real has yet to interigate the witnesses of the 'crime' she has only talk to thoughs in command at the time. they were no were near the breen.
OK, I'm cool for now with waiting for both the more formal investigation and for whatever news Minnsky has for me. Blackstar, if you want to proceed with the dinner and drinks/informal meeting over the investigation and our new comm arrangement, that's fine with me.

I do think though there should be an attempted prison break.

Hey, you're the security chief - write it as you will.
IDK what Blackstar's thoughts are, but if M'real and I are having that conversation, and then have to run to help put down a prison break, it could be a very weird opportunity for her to meet that old Caitian...

I might also respond...with an alterior motive...I'm sure i'd be curious as to there reason for attacking the freighter...which WAS cardassian....

I'll be nearby for the response, be sure of that.

Since the freighter was both independent and heavily modified, I don't think there was any anti-Cardassian motivation; rather, it was probably just an opportune target to try and start Fed/Tholian hostilities.

I would post the beginnings of a prison break if someone else would post
