Though I don't recall the exact date I started work here, I figure I'm about through my fourth full year at my current job. If it's not the best job in the world and my prospects for better jobs are uncertain, work is work. I figure I must be doing something right here anyway since I've stuck.

Well I got home from work to a home without power; apparently there was a car accident which knocked out power lines for the local area. Power just came back after a bit over two hours.

I'm thankful to have gotten the A/C back in time for bed. Today was after all the first day here to have topped 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

You, too? It hit about 90 around here in New Hampshire as well.

Around 100 down the Jersey shore at 1:00 pm today.

Yeah, here in Houston it was... 87.
