Imagine having this in your joint:
Any pressure on it and basically you are being stabbed. Not nice. At least it's virtually gone now.

Please tell me you didnt take that photo with one of your crazy lenses after cutting open yourself.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

That would also be insane, but maybe in a semi-good way.

I love talking to people about power production. Nothing like explaining how my state going with nothing but natural gas is a bad idea then getting something along the lines of, "Why don't you just build solar panels?" In that earnest inquisitive voice like it's the most sensible thing in the world.
I really need to just start changing the subject.

That's the real winner. The problem is that getting one built today is almost impossible.
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
As long as people have that unthinking knee jerk reaction "RADIATION!" no new ones will be built.

The college by me, Mercer County Community College literally filled their entire land with solar panels. Someone told me 80 acres.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Heh, waste of money. 80 acres will make about 16 megawatts and do it from about 10 am to 3pm, when it's not cloudy. It would have also cost about $100 million on the low side. I seriously doubt a community college could swing that.
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Maybe not 80 acres but they definitely did fill all the open space on the West Windsor campus with solar panels. I feel bad the nearby residents too because it spreads to the back of their lawn.

Correction. 45 acres. Now they are mostly done.

So about 9 MW and probably about $55million. What a fucking waste.
I'd be seriously pissed if someone decided to turn my backyard into a solar farm.
Correction, 8 whopping megawatts. A bit farther north from me so the angle of incidence screws you a bit more. I'd love to know the payback figures on that.
