Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
We currently have NO vessels in the Delta Quadrant, as per our agreement with the parties ACTUALLY INVOLVED the main security is their domain, our force rests at the BQ station and will respond with haste to any security threat they are needed for.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
Interesting. We would have at least left an early warning force equipped with lesser technology and orders to withdraw and/or destroy the anomaly if engaged by the Borg. We wish no confrontation with the Federation over this matter, but we do implore other major powers to consider the weight of this situation. Yes, the anomaly offers an excellent trade opportunity. Yes, the anomaly offers breakthroughs in scientific and exploratory fields. It also offers an open invitation to the Borg to easily invade our region of space. All sovereign powers in the region should consider this, and weigh the survival of races in both Local Quadrants against the Federation's will to expand their influence and will into yet another region of space.
The Kazon may be a belligerent and inferior species, but the Federation's open invasion of their space should give us all pause as to their ultimate goals.

Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
Once again, you are WRONG. The Federation has NOT invaded Kazon space. We send a force through to neutralize the Kazon threat to the trade and security of the wormhole and to try and recover the hostages they had taken before we opened the wormhole up to trade. After the situation was handled we returned to the Beta Quadrant, we did not nor shall we attempt to take control of any Kazon planet or any other planet in the Delta Quadrant apart from the space directly around the wormhole which like in the Beta quadrant we use to house our defenses against any potential threat.

If that is truly the case, then you have our apologies; as usual, we had no reliable foreknowledge of the Federation's activities.
This certainly has no bearing on our concerns regarding the Borg.

I would like to call a conference on those concerns of the Breen. The Borg worry us as well even though we are arguably the farthest from the threat.
I would like this conference to discuss what we may do in the case of a Borg incursion, they do seem to have an odd fascination with the federation and therefore we fear they may try to proceed through this wormhole.

I suppose the most logical thing to do would to forge an anti Borg, mutual defense treaty.

Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
Would it not also be prudent to pool our resources in Anti-Borg research? We suggest a multi-party "Think Tank" established far from the wormhole terminus, away from likely Borg Strikes. The Borg may be weakened, but they are relentless. Once they assimilate the Federation they will come after each of us.

The Borg Threat isn't confined to just the wormhole. Their transwarp hubs were paralyzed thanks to a federation crew however we have no way of knowing how long the network will be down.

With their transwarp network down, they're even more likely to come through your anomaly should they discover it. If they encounter any of the trading vessels currently in the Delta Quadrant; they will assimilate the crews, and learn the exact location of your anomaly.

Also the federation will not differ Borg defense to a multi-lateral group unless every party is willing to match the combat power of the federation force we have dispatched there

the point of that transmission was that we don't know if the transwarp network is still downTsukiyumi wrote:With their transwarp network down, they're even more likely to come through your anomaly should they discover it. Admin question, I assume differ means defer as in you will not wait on making decisions on this subject to another group without X, Y and Z?Lt. Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
May I interject? What of those powers that do not have a substantial military force to match the Federation's "anti-Borg" fleet while protecting their own space at the same time?
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.
Re: SIM Galaxy IC Thread
I too would be unable to offer much assistance with that, I have my fleet of D'Kora class, but that would barely do anything against any sort of fleet unless we dispatch all 300 of our vessels, and even then it would be a very minimal effect on the Borg.
