Trying to apply logic to english isnt really that sensible. Yes we say Cheque, but thats how it is always been. I admit, I can possibly be stuck up. And I do generally have a slightly negative view of American's, although most of the ones on this website really have changed that to what my former opinion of them were. And I can understand why you spell it differently, even if I disagree. But having a different opinion is automatically wrong?
