Photoshop was used for the final composition. I used a Lightwave to render some of the ships, but 98% was Photoshop.
Hah, I won my mental bet! :D I thought I smelled photoshop in the final assembly. Lightwave was just a guess, though.

That a Constituation in there? I saw an Ambassador makes me wonder if you have all the Enterprises.

Nice work, I think those Borg are in trouble.

lol.. there is a constitution in the new section. Open the fullsize one (the thumbnailed one) and you can see it better...

I guess I do have all of them  but it wasn't by design... there are a couple Excelsiors, Ambassadors, some obvious Galaxys and Sovereigns and the one Connie, albeit a refit. No NX though :P

Damn! I'm glad I clicked on the thumbnail. This is like Where's Waldo, but I can't find the freakin' Constitution class. Anyone give me a hint?

DarkOmen, this is really awesome. Totally cool. I'm photoshop illiterate, so is this is a composite, or all hand drawn, or what?

I found the Connie. It appears to have been refitted with array phasers.

I actually have a much bigger version of the connie, and you can see it has newer warp nacelles too ;) I just took a screen cap of the refit 1701 and added some modern amenities to it.

And shizo-hal, it is a little of both. Some of it is hand drawn, some of the ships are models that i made and rendered, and some are photomanipulations of screenies from the show.

I found the Connie and can just make out the modern nacelles.

What type of ship is that in dock at the bottom center?

Yup ;)

If anyone wants any part of the whole thing as a wallpaper, let me know which area and what resolution you use, and i can crop a background out of it.

Found the Connie, I think. Though I can see how you can miss it with all those other ships.

The saucer looks like a Sovereign saucer, but I can't quite make out the engineering hull; somehow it doesn't look quite right to me :?:
