Re: Whose the Villain! [spoiler tags malfunctioning]
Okay, an apparently reliable source is reporting on who the blonde girl and the villain is. Since spoiler tags aren't working I will try putting this in (almost) black on black, so highlight to see :
The blond girl in the trailer is Carol Marcus.
Benedict Cumberbatch is playing "John Harrison". In "Space Seed," Harrison was named as one of those on the bridge who almost suffocated to death when Khan cut life support. Quite what this means is open to question... maybe one of the Khan supermen assumed Harrison's identity or something...?
So there we have it.

Blah... she looks nothing like that person.
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Maybe a set-up to the Assault of Khan?

Dear god I hope not time travel....
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I have to admit that my first thought on seeing her was "little blonde lab technician" rather than whatshername from WNMHGB.GrahamKennedy wrote:The blond girl in the trailer is Carol Marcus.

I doubt this is a time travel story. They did that already.Teaos wrote:Dear god I hope not time travel....

The original movies #1 and #4 were about huge alien ships that were on a direct path to Earth and no one could stop them...Nutso wrote:I doubt this is a time travel story. They did that already.Teaos wrote:Dear god I hope not time travel....

Here's a thought I've seen floating around the Tubes: Could Harrison be Section 31?

He's probably going to be a super soldier who was left to die and now he wants revenge.
