The Sov because it looks cool and dangerous.

I have to go with the Sovereign. As far as I'm concerned, the Sov is the epitome of downright gorgeous ships. The Art Asylum version is sitting up on the hutch above my monitors, along with the composite photo from the Star Trek Experience and the rest of my Sci-Fi Geek paraphernalia.

For elegance, the refit Connie is hard to beat, though.

I can't argue with that. The swept look added something, but it was still a simple, smooth, understated design. For this particular question, I think the Sove wins; there is a quality to it that says, to parpahrase a Disney film, "You are no longer adrift in the sheltered harbor of my patience."

NONE OF YOU EVER SAW THIS COMING I'M SURE! But I vote for the Excelsior! The first starfleet ship EVER that was both beautiful and deadly!

I don't believe in the transwarp crap. That captain was a fool on the lines of French army! Come to think of it, wasn't the actor french? He did have the facial hair for it.

The Sovereign class for me, with the Constitution refit a close second.

I have a goattee. What are you trying to say? :madashell:

And so what if they let the clutch out too fast on the Excelsior? They should have used an Allison transmission, anyway.

True enough for that. Whoever set the gear shaft should be shot!

As to your goattee, its not a pencile thin is it? If so then yes, you look like a frenchman.

No, no, it's a full, rich goattee, my Jewish heritage would be proud of.

for me it would be the Excelsior because it just looks smooth and well-finished yet precise and well-balanced. The Connie comes damned close though. I hate the Galaxy because its nacelle truts deviate from every other ship of this line (I.E non-diagonal) and i kind of think the Sovereign is kinda...boring.

R U kidding? The Sov next to other contemporary designs is like a Lotus Esprit next to a VW Beetle - one of the old ones made in Mexico.
